Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between euro pallets class A, B and C?
Class A is used and predominantly light in colour. Class B differs from it only by its darker colour. Both carry a permanent EPAL or EUR/UIC marking, a nominal load of 1,500 kg and are suitable for automated conveyor and storage systems. Class C shows heavy signs of use and is intended for general transport use. A specific nominal load, suitability for automated systems and exchange in pallet pools are not agreed for class C. Annex 1 of our terms and conditions applies.
How big is a euro pallet and how much can it carry?
A euro pallet measures 1200 × 800 × 144 mm and carries around 1,500 kg dynamically.
Are euro pallets suitable for export?
Yes, they are ISPM-15-treated and therefore approved for international export.
